Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

support/custody/aspergers

Always had custody of son who has aspergers. Ex. never accepted it but paid small support but told son didn't need meds so we struggled with this for years trying to get son to accept help. We paid for all his testing and care. Recently husband was transferred out of state so we've been in new place for about 1 week. Son didn't know how to deal with sudden pressure of where to go so being 18 and having a new job with one close friend I told him to stay with his dad for a few weeks till we get things settled and then he could decide. We received a letter of a court date for custody and support from ex. yesterday. With son being 18 almost 19 in a few weeks, them not being an active parental influence on his behalf what should we do? Can I emancipate him myself? He's able to work but not live on his own. They made him quit his job recenlty and aren't making him see his voc. rehab coach either. I have full custody can I make him come here? Will they try to get support figured on husband? I make only small amount at my current employer. They hesitated to help when we needed it if at all, never attended psyche visits and dr. What should I do? Court date is in a few days. Help guide us. So concerned about his care..not money.

Thanks.
