Switching Guardianship

I'm a 16 year old and my mom has legal guardianship over me, and I have discussed with both her and my father that I would like to move in with my father in Alabama.

My dad told me something about her making legal agreements before he gets custody. What kind would those be?

There will have to be a court order modifying the existing custody arrangement, visitation and support
