Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Teenager wanting to refuse visitation

My 13 year old niece is starting to refuse to go to her Mom's on the weekends (her mom is my sister) and so far her dad (who has custody) has been successful in making her go but it is starting to get to the point where it is going to get ugly and my niece is going to refuse to go. Is there an age in Indiana where the child can choose not to go for the visitation? My sister lost custody because it was proved she was physically and verbally abusive-forgot to mention that the stepfather is an alcoholic and she has found him passed out on the bathroom floor and has also run away from home during the weekend visitations (luckily she goes to her pastor's house and he returns her back to her Mom's).

Re: Teenager wanting to refuse visitation

No. There is no age when a minor child can control parenting time.
