Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Travel outside the United States

I have primary physical custody of my children. My mother (who is Canadian) would like to take the children to Canada to see her mother (their great-grandmother), but my ex-wife says that my mother is not allowed to take the kids without her permission. Is this true?

Depends on what your decree or settlement agreement states.

Absent a court order to the contrary, the trip is OK as long as it doesn't interfere with a visitation that the other parent is entitled to.
