visitation

If a couple has seperated and formal visitation has not been established, is the custodial parent required to allow visitation?

Re: visitation

There is no law requiring the visitation. However, once the matter is before the court, denial of visitation that the court determines to have not been in the best interest of the child(ren) will not be looked upon in a good light. I would be very careful about denying visitation.
