Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Vistation on scheduled weekends
I was told that it was a felony in Indiana to take pictures from the exterior of a home of the interior of a house. Is this true?
I took a picture of the exterior of my ex-spouse home when I went to pick up our daughter for a scheduled visitation weekend according to the custody plan; the car was there but no one came to the door. I took the picture as continued documentation of non-compliance with the court ordered visitation.
My ex-spouse says she is going to have me arrested for taking a picture of her home, claiming that it is a felony in Indiana to take the picture of a home's interior from the outside. I took a picture from the sidewalk, and never used the camera on the front porch. My ex-spouse says that I will lose all visitation rights once I am convicted under this felony charge.
My attorney is working on a capital murder case in another state for 3 weeks, and I am trying to find out before he comes back if there is any reason for me to worry about this seemingly trite threat.

Since you took a picture of the exterior you have nothing to worry about.
