wage garnishment

Can I personally submit the Income Withholding Order to the employer of my ex and is it possible to personally report the arrearage (over 20,000) to the Credit Bureau?

Thank you for your questions. The wage order must be issued through the court. If issued by the court, you can certainly serve the company with the court order byt certified mail.

You have to be careful about reporting to the credit bureau. If this is a juvenile matter, there is a confidentiality issue that might be violated.

If it is not a juvenile matter, you can try to send the information in, whether they accept it and incorporate it into his record is another question.
