Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My ex wife and I drafted our own divorce decree and chose the option of her keeping the house and making mortgage payments but sharing profits when it is sold. I want to know if I can get a court order demanding her to refinance the house in order to get my name off the title. I would rather not wait for her to sell the house in case she walks away. Please advise.

I have seen this issue many times. You really need to hire an attorney as modifying an existing decree can be difficult, even though a mere addition in the decree setting forth a time limit for the sale and a refinance alternative could have been easily drafted initially.
