Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My wife and her mother owned a vehicle prior to us being married. During our marriage, my wife used the car as her primary vehicle until this past April when we bought a new car. Since then, I have been driving it. In August, we filed for divorce. Since the car isn't mine, I had the car detailed and offered to get it inspected. Now, her mother is trying to get me to pay for a windshield (broke prior to marriage), for it to be inspected again, and for other normal wear and tear on the car. Can she stick me with the bill for work on a car that I have never owned and had no agreement to even drive.

Not likely. However, a windshield can be purchased for a small amount. I had one replaced a couple of years back for less than $200. It might be worth the inmvestment to just be doen with it.
