Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have a two year old daughter , i am 18 and a senior in high shool . When my daughter was first born , i filed for child support & i was awarded sole custody & baby daddy no visitations . The baby daddy is a felon , was in jail when baby was born . Has been in jail since , and also been to prison . He has been in and out of her life for short periods of time . Never lasting long . Drugs & alcohol win over her . He has no job , is behind on child support & i has no permanent residence . Just stays where ever someone will let him . No car , no license . He is 21 . He filed a petition for parenting time . Do i have a chance at proving him not being in her life as in the best interest of her , or should i not fight it ?

You need to hire an attorney to discuss all these facts, particularly the reason why the judge said initially that he would not be permitted to visit his daughter. but remember that the presumption that he will be part of this child's life was made when you and he had sexual intercourse, and the rights that he obtained at that time are hard to take away.
