if i did not work 625 hours and was denied family leave is there anyway to appeal and still qualify for it?

To qualify for FMLA, you must: (1)have worked for the employer at least 12 months; (2) have worked at least 1,250 hours during the 12 months prior to the start of FMLA leave; and(3) work at a location with at least 50 employees at that location or within 75 miles of the location.
Although you can always file a claim with the U.S. Department of Labor, or file a civil lawsuit, to appeal denial of FMLA, I don't think you stand much of a chance if you are 625 hours shy of the 1,250 requirement.
