Legal Question in Medical Leave in Indiana

Terminated from Employment Due to Auto Accident

I worked for the BMV in IN and my son was in a serious auto accident. He was critically injured with treatment ongoing. I was terminated from my employer because they would not grant me a leave, and I was denied my unemployement. Is there anything that I can do to receive my unemployment compensation?
