Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
About 10 years ago when I was about 20 years old, my parents gave myself and each of my siblings (which are all older than me) a Kruggerandt (1 oz. gold coin) for Christmas. My sister suggested she put it in her safe deposit box for me for safe keeping, since I had no where to put it. Well, about 6 years ago, my family and I had a falling out and stopped speaking. I sent her a letter about a month ago requesting the coin and she will not respond to me. Do I have any legal right in this matter?

Yes. File a suit for conversion. It is possible that the Lake County prosecutor may be interested in criminal action. You should go to their intake at the Government Center.
You definitely have a right to the coin. If all you're interested in is regaining your coin, sometimes, hiring a lawyer to write a letter will suffice. You can file a civil action to get the coin back, too.
