Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
Breach of contract/daycare
I have a contract with my parents before taking care of their children that lists their financial responsibilities.. On point #5 I state that I require 2 weeks written notice for termination of child care. Point #6 states that the parent/guardian is responsible for 2-week period. This parent has not given written notice and refuses to pay the 2-weeks required in my contract. Am looking to take her to small claims court, but want to make sure that I have grounds. This contract was signed by both parties and dated by caregiver on first day of childcare rendered.
