Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
College Roommates------If you sign a lease with two other people on an apartment and then a month later decide to change your mind and can't get out of the lease would you still be responsible for 1/3 of the rent and utilities regardless of whether your living there?
The tenant that did not move in is wanting her portion of the deposit refunded which would be 287.00 when she did not contribute any money to the $2,195.00 in utility bills for the 12 month period.

Yes. If that was the agreement. You should file a small claims case.
