Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Hello, my name is erick. I just recently returned home from burger king. I went there to get me and my son dinner. I ordered the food and went to the window and handed the worker my card to pay for the food. he gave it back, then when he went to hand me the bags of food i noticed he had what looked like blood on his pinky finger. When he seen me looking he said, " i almost cut my finger off on that machine, i didnt touch your food though". But, i know for a fact that he fixed my sons drink and scooped the fries out to put in the box and bagged the food up. His pinky finger had what looked like some toilet paper wrapped on it and you could see blood coming out the top of it. He didnt even have any of the plastic gloves on either. what could i do about this, I didnt complain to him about it because i believe he may have been the manager.
