Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Grandson attack in a movie theater and there was no charges against the attacker. Is the theather responsible for the safety of its customers and employees? There was engerencies to my grandson and he had to be treated at a clinic. He is also an employee of this theater, but wasn't working at the time. He was just there to see the movie.
