Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
I put my friend on my phone contract. at first he was paying the bills on time no problems.. about a year later he got fired from the job. He called asked me to borrow 60 bucks for his electric bill, then 2 weeks later 40 dollars for some gas. he got another job but still hasnt paid me my money back.. He stopped paying the phone bill on time which it was diconnected 3 times bc he didn't pay, I paid his bill twice for him in the ammount of 112 which he never paid back and its been 2yrs now.. I sent several messages asking for my money, and he always said he was going to pay or had some kind of excuses. I don't know what else to do and I want my money back plus 250 for him to get off my contract

YOU NEED to contact the phone company first and see if you can get your friend off the contract immediately. As for what he owes you, the best option is to file a small claims court case against him, which you can do yourself. Whether you collect anything however, might be doubtful. If he doesn't have any assets or a job which you can garnish, you might just chalk it off to experience.
