Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
my son has been in jail for 17 days for probation violation of possession of marijuana offence he committed in 2008, with no new offence. my question is : will he be able to be released on bail?

Unless there are any special circumstances, such as risk of flight, past history before 2008 and other factors, he should be eligible for reasonable bail. I sincerely hope that you and your son have retained an attorney to represent your son because criminal proceedings are not a do-it-yourself project.
