Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
I am getting sued by a credtor of which I have entered into a debt settlement program. I do not have enough money in the program for a settlement to be negotiated and will not for several months. They are talking about garnishing wages. Is there anything I can do? We are living paycheck to paycheck as it is so I cannot afford for wages to be taken out of my pay check.

You are being sued. There is no judgment, therefore there can be no wage garnishment at this time. It will take several months for them to obtain a judgment usually, so you should have some time to getsome funds together. You should hire an attorney asap.
