Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Three years ago I let two gentlemen borrow $400 a piece. I've asked them on several occassions to pay the money back, but they keep coming up with excuses why that can't pay. The proof of the loans was stored in my cellphone via text messages and voicemails. That phone had gotten damaged so now I don't have any proof of the loans. Can I still take them to court to retrieve my money?

Sure, it will be your word against their word. If their testimony is not credible, the court may rule in your favor.
