Legal Question in Health Care Law in Indiana
I'm on Medicaid and a woman, I was trying to make a doctors appointment for a pelvic exam and requested a female doctor, the office denied my request saying I had to have the male doctor they assigned is this lrgal? I'm not comfortable with a man doing this

There is nothing illegal about their requirement. Perhaps he is the only doctor that they use for pelvic exams. Perhaps you can ask that they have a female nurse present when the exam is conducted.
