Re: radiology
The purpose of licensure is to protect the public. Your licensing board, assuming that radiology is licensed in your state, will look at you to determine whether you are currently suitable. DO NOT hide your criminal record as that will make it nearly impossible for you to get a license. Make sure you disclose it.
In the event your career path is not licensed in your state, then the real question is whether a hospital will hire you. If they do a background check and learn you have a history of theft, they may consider you unsuitable. You may want to talk to several different health care providers about this situation before investing money in education.
