Legal Question in Immigration Law in Indiana
Hello,
I am an Italian citizen about to finish undergrad at Indiana University Bloomington. I would like to start a business on OPT, or, as a last resort, become employed on OPT after graduation. What services would you provide for a situation like mine?
Thank you,
Zi Wang

Hi Zi:
Unfortunately, you cannot be employed by your investment on OPT. Depending on your Nationality, you might be eligible for an E-1 or E-2 non-immigrant visa, as an investor. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me, or refer to http://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/temporary-workers/e-2-treaty-investors.
