Legal Question in Immigration Law in Indiana
Immigration
I heard that I can apply for citizenship 3 months before my 5 year anniversary, is this true? Also it says that Indianapolis is a 5 month time frame for the naturalization application; does that mean I'll have it all finished within those 5 months?

Re: Immigration
Yes, you can apply 3 months prior to your 5-year anniversary of having received your lawful permanent residence. Check your card and note the date it was issued to make sure. I would not count on having "it all finished," within 5 months. You may get your naturalization interview within 5 months, but don't plan on anything with any specificity. The government often disappoints with those timetables. GoOD LUCK!
