marriage license

how do you get married to a illeagal immigrant? I've been tring to get answers, but everyone that i talk to they say they need a ss# and a marriage license. She did not come to the U.S. with any passports or green cards and she has been here for 10 years.

Yes, you need a marriage license which you can obtain at your local courthouse. Not certain, but most states do not require a ss# to obtain a marriage license, but may require some form of identification. If your intended spouse entered the country without inspection (illegally), she will not be able to obtain her lawful residency (green card) here in the U.S. -- she will have to return to her country and then reenter via the embassy. Get a good immigration lawyer to explain this and get you started in the right direction.

Passport should be enough to get married in the U.S.

However, applying for permanent residence after the marriage will likely require a waiver process back at the US embassy in your spouse's home country.
