Legal Question in Immigration Law in Indiana

I am trying to help a student in Indiana concerning immigration. In May 2017 he married his sweetheart of two years. He needs to change his status. I need to know about cost, how long it is likely to take, anything relevant to the situation.

I suggest that he consult with an immigration attorney to make sure he is eligible to adjust status. Not everyone is eligible, despite marrying a U.S. citizen. Assuming he is eligible, filing fees & interview times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov.
