Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana
is this bad-faith???
I was rear-ended may 1st. It happened in Indiana, I have Michigan, full-coverage. The people who hit me gave false insurance, it expired. I am dealing with my own insurance. They paid once month's lost wages and fixed my car. They say my injuries have nothing to do with accident. They refuse to pay my $8000 in medical bills. I had an IME the beginning of october, no response still, no other doctor will see me because they know my insurance will not pay for it. I have two bills already in collection because of this. Are they constituting bad-faith? How can I get them to pay my med bills and lost wages? The IME doctor even said this is BS, and will write in the report to get me the care I need.
