Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana
my car was hit by a large piece of constuction eqiupment on a job site. the accident was not reported to the general contractor by the person, i assume so they would not have to take a drug test. the contractor turned it in to insurance and says they still do not know who was operating the eqiupment, although they should keep daily records.the car is going to be totaled and i feel i will take a bath with the insurance company. what are my rights state of indiana.

It shouldn't matter who was operating the equipment, since your car was struck by someone's equipment. You are entitled to compensation for the market value of your car at the time.
