Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana

Crashes at low speeds between 10 to 30 mph.

My mother got in a car accident several months ago that wasn't her fault. There was no car damage. She has had sleepless nights and pain in her neck and back since then. The insurance is wanting to pay for only the currant bills and $350 extra, stating that she should not be having anymore pain. How much should she be getting. Should she be getting more than the $350 and the money for bills?

The amount of medical bills has no bearing on the severity of injury. There is no formula though most insurance companies would like you to believe there is. I personally was rearended 12 years ago and was sore for a few weeks. Now I have such bad arthritis I can hardly get out of bed. You have to consider the nature of the injury and the potential for future problems as well. I practiced for insurance companies 14 years in California and know all their dirty tricks. It may take longer, but at least a good lawyer can make a difference. Each case is different. Let me know if you have any questions.
