Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana
insurance deductible
My ex-husband and I have a medical bill for our daughter. My ex-husband's insurance didn't pay because he hadn't paid his deductible yet. My current husband and I also have insurance but we had paid our deductible. Isn't he responsible for paying his deductible?

Domestic law is not my area of expertise, which is personal injury and medical malpractice. Nonethelss, I believe that if your decree says he is responsible for half of the medical bills, then he is responsible for half the bills regardless of whether he has met his deductible.
