Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana
i live in Indiana and was in a car accident. i am being billed by the volunteer fire department for responding the the emergency call. i am being billed $4508 for respondidng to the call, they didnt assist or do anything. thank god - i was able to walk away from the accident.
my insurance denied their claim and the fire dpt is telling me i am responsible.
isnt the volunteer fire dpt paid by our taxes?

No, it isd not part of your taxes, but $4508 seems like an extraordinary amount to charge. Most ambulance calls are for about $500 or so.
