Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana
We are opening a clubhouse for a not for profit motorcycle club made up of Firefighters. The room that we have converted is in the same bldg as a restaurant bar. We plan on holding gatherings there occasionally. Do we have to have a certain type of liability insurance for this??

Yes, you most likely do have to have specialty insurance. It isn't necessarily a legal requirement, but your group certainly wants to have proper liability and other coverages. See a general multiple-lines agent for your needs---insurance for social and fraternal clubs, depending on the nature and extent of your activities, require specialized coverage.
