Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana

personnel property damage

a vehicle left the roadway and damaged my property,sherriff filled out accident report,driver was insured,he has not filed a insurance claim with his company,his insurance agent says he cannot compensate me until a claim is made even though the agent has a copy of the accident report, what can i do? I live in the state indiana

you may approach the lawyer nearby and file a claim Petition in the proper court. You have not stated the place of accident. We can't give proper suggession till you provide full information.
