My son broke his knee and had to have surgery. He was at school, on recess and his leg got caught up in the monkey bars. Should the school be responsible for the bills?

In Indiana, schools have somewhat limited liability. To recover against a school, you must prove the school was negligent and that the child was not negligent at all. You can ask the school if it has any medpay coverage that would pay some or all of the bills without regard to fault.
