Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Indiana
I am considering creating a website that "reproduces" documentation that a manufacturer produces. The documentation that I create would be easier for the end user of the product to understand and use. In essance I would be putting it in a different format and providing additional information. What kind of copywrite, or other issues should I be aware of?

As a franchise attorney I can tell you the most important issue to consider is copyright infringement. If you infringe on the other party's copyrighted documents, you're in trouble, unless you get their permission to do what you seek. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
