Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Indiana

Personal Possesions/Belongings,etc

Thank You for replying to my question, it did help me understand at what I can do to retain my belongings.

I also wanted to know would it also be best to our knowledge if my ex fiance and I sat down and talked about what we want to split up between us if we dont have receipts, though we decide from there who gets it what on deciding ho should keep them? Even though I may not have receipts that I know that I purchased?

And again I thank you for helping me understand what to do in this matter.

It's always best for you if you can resolve the matter without the intervention of courts and/or lawyers. If the two of you are willing to sit down and peacefully divide the property, then go with that. If you suspect the division will ever be at issue in the future, protect yourself by putting it down in writing and have both of you sign it.
