Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

Cheated out of a paycheck

I worked for a company for 5 months in outside sales on a draw vs commission basis.i quit last friday with the co. owing me expenses and 1 week pay.I was told by my former employer today that i would not get my paycheck or my expenses because i have not met the dollar amt in sales that was needed. he said i cost him money and that i was a bad investment. when i started there i was promised accounts to get me started that would virtually guarantee me commissions. i never rcvd all of those accts as promised. can an employer legally hold my money?? we never signed anything stating it was a draw vs commission. i rcvd a paycheck every 2 weeks up until this point.

please let me know.

thank you.

If the amount of pay (not including expenses) you are owed is $800 or less, you must first file your claim with the indiana Dept. of Labor (232-2655) before any attorney can file suit on your behalf. If your claim is more than $800, please feel free to contact me at 317-955-9500.
