Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana
Collecting Wages Being Withheld By A Former Employer
I've been terminated by a former employer, and am trying to get the final paycheck that they owe me. After contacting them by phone several times and requesting that they mail me my paycheck, I still have recieved nothing. Two weeks has passed since my first request. How can I collect the pay that they owe to me? Is there a law that I can use to help pursue my cause in a legal manner if neccessary?

If gross pay owed is less than $800, contact the Indiana Wage Claims Division at 232-2655. If more than $800, contact me at (317) 955-9500 to discuss bringing a claim under the Indiana Wage Claims Act.
