Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana
An employee wrote a letter to human resources about her supervisor dating a fellow employee. In the letter it described several instances in which the two made sexual gestures to one another and she and others felt there was favouritism showed to the supposed girlfriend. The following day the complainant was accused by a fellow employee of making threatening remarks. A witness confirmed these remarks. What should the employer due to avoid legal action from all involved?

The employer should follow its written employment policy. If none exists, the employer should consult with its attorney to discuss all of the circumstances.
