Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana
My employer placed me on an administrative leave of absence after I informed them that I found out somebody threatened me (outside of work). This was three weeks ago. They asked me for a statement about what happened. I gave them one stating everything I knew of the matter. Now they want me to state that i dont feel like the threat remains to me or the store I work at, and why. I do not feel comfortable with answering this question, because I feel I could be held liable if something happens out of my control. What should I do? I am in Indiana. Thank you!
