i would like to know what i can do. in march i had quit my job (daycare) due to things that was happening there i didnt want to be in it anymore. i sent the boss my resignment letter and everything. after i had left the boss told some of the parents that i was a drug addict and that she had to fire me and she told some other parents that i had forged a paper and all this is not true. she is running my name in the dirt and i believe she is giving me bad work references i havent been able to get a job since. she is also bringing my family into this and slandering one of thier business causeing them to not get business and loseing out on money. please what can i do.

Your remedy is a lawsuit for libel. She has slandered you and hurt your reputation. That's a pretty basic suit that rests in libel law.
