Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

On Feb. 15,2012 i was given a check for my pay as truck driver, in the amount of 2200.00 but im not able to cash it, sent a certified letter but have not gotten a response. What do i do next? The companies in Minnesota and i live in indiana. Do i need to speak with a attorney from Minn. since thats where the check was written from?
