Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

My girlfriend was hired into Dollar General as Associate manage about 2 months ago. During the interview process she infored the General manager and District manager that due to being a single mom of a 2 year old she was only available to work certain evening hours. Both managers assured her this would not be a problem, and were more than willing to accomadate. Just today the district manager came into the store after the schedule had already been posted and said it wasn`t to her liking and changed it so my girlfreiend now has to work from 9am - 9:30 pm or 11am to 9:30pm and said that despite not being able to find a babysitter those hours she is expected to work anyway. Is this legal? what can she do to fight this without losing her job?
