honest with or without job

my employeer has reached retirement, and i think planning and selling the company building and possibly closing the doors the company is on cod deleivers we receive large deposit from customers that i have personal relation with that has ofered me a job in the past. the company that i work for seem to be broke. when we delevery the end product very late plus not complete the customer always ask me what is happening with there deposits. i told the owner the problem that i had, i am a christan and i fell that i and the company is beening dishonest with the customers,and i felt they should now, of coarse he said he would not advice it. what are the legal matters if i choose to tell the customer?

If you feel you cannot represent the product honestly, then you need to look for another job. If you believe your employer is being dishonest with customers, and you interact with customers, you may have a duty to disclose some facts about the product, particularly if there are safety issues. On the other hand, for you to advise them of your perceived dishonesty of your employer could have some legal repercussions for you.

I think I'd start looking for other work.
