Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

My job was eliminated due to a restructuring & they had me sign a severance agreement that I would not make any negative comments about them. Now they are threatening to take my severance away because my wife has made comments about their lack of loyalty & that their new leadership is out of control. Is my wife bound by my agreement?

without seeing the agreement one cannot give you a definitive answer. however the simplest thing to do is for her to stop making negative comments. why risk your severence and becoming embroiled in expensive unproductive litigation?
