Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

i just quit my job as a independent contractor doing massage therapy. my boss says she will sue me if i contact any of my clients. i never signed a contract with her. can she do that?

If you directly solicit business from the clients, she may have a cause of action for intereference with a contractual relationship. However, if thet contact you because of your general advertising, you should be o.k. Also, she cannot prevent you from opening your own business.
