Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana
My wife works for a small business and she has been accused of stealing money from the register. Of course it is not true and no one else has been accused and everyone has the same access to the cash register. Each of the other employees has begun to mention this around her, such as when a police officer entered the business, one person said look they are coming for her! Should she contact an attorney because she has been told by one employee on the condition of anonomity that the manager is focused on her and he has said he will do whatever it takes to make sure she is found to be the one who is stealing?
