Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

Working seven days a week

When I was hired, I signed an employment contract stating that I would work five days a week with two days a week, and approximately 50 hours a week. My employer now is attempting to make me work seven days a week. I am a salaried employee. Is that employment contract legally binding? Can I have it legally enforced?

Re: Working seven days a week

It is impossible to answer your question without a lawyer reviewing the contract. Suggest you bring it into a lawyer and have him/her check it out.

If you're working those kinds of hours, the Fair Labor Standards Act is probably applicable here, i.e., for overtime payments. Check it out.
