Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana

I have 5 brothers and sisters, and live with my parents. After being in the same house for 12 years and paying 1650 monthly, my father decided his money was going to waste when the price we were being asked to pay was more than what the house itself is worth, my father let the payments stack up for a couple months while we looked for another house. My father's credit is not so great which made it harder longer for the house search, and our house went for sale at a sherriffs auction. We have to move out by August 15th. But this has made his credit worse. We can't stay in an apartment, and we've found a house but they've said no because of his credit. Though my father is completely capable of paying on time or early every month, What happened with the house we are currently in has worsened our situation. Are there any ways we can guarantee that we will pay?

Possibly a voluntary irreversible wage assignment would satisfy a potential creditor.
